Day 9

Day 9

January 25th, 2013
As we continue to understand our authority as believers to rule and reign in our personal world, another very important foundation needs to be established. We need to be unshakeable knowing that God is our Abba/(Daddy) Father, and that He is well pleased with us, and we are accepted by Him. Now, you may ask why this is so important. Allow me to ask you; have you ever made a mistake, failed, missed the mark, sinned, felt unworthy, thought you never did enough praying, bible reading, fasting, and therefore thought God was a million miles away? I’m sure we all have at one time or another. We all want to be pleasing and accepted by our heavenly Father, true? Yet, whereas we all want this, this is where we miss an important truth. He IS our Abba/(Daddy) Father, and He IS well pleased with us, and we ARE accepted by Him, and it’s because of His Son Jesus.

Praise the Lord that it is not based on our behavior and our works, so that we become the measuring stick that God uses. It’s because of Jesus; it’s because of His grace; it’s because of His great love for us. Therefore, knowing this, we stand on the Rock (Jesus) as our foundation, Who is eternally unshakeable and unfailing. So when the devil’s accusations come, or when the storms of life come, we will not be moved. We will not quit. We will not give in. We will walk in supreme confidence in our Savior, Redeemer, Deliverer, Who we belong to. We will stand and say in our authority “get thee behind me Satan,” knowing all the power of God backs us, all the time, because we are His children and are accepted in the Beloved. We will resist the devil and he will flee from us (James 4:7). And we will say BOLDLY, “… as he is, so are we in this world.” (1 John 4:17).

Our Abba/(Daddy) is well pleased with Jesus…
• “… as he is, so are we in this world.”

Our Abba/(Daddy) says Jesus is His Beloved Son…
• “… as he is, so are we in this world.”

Jesus is accepted by our Abba/(Daddy), Father…
• “… as he is, so are we in this world.”

Praise Him, saying it every day, “… as Jesus is, so am I in this world!”

Hallelujah! Glory to His Name!
