Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. (James 3:4, 5 NKJV)
Sometimes we think a life issue is so massive and we don't know what to do, but James tells us exactly what to do, SPEAK.
Sailing is so much fun, but unlike a car in a cul de sac, they don't turn quite so fast. They take a little time and finess. Winds aren't as dependable as 4 tires on asphalt. Even in a power boat, moving through the water...not as easy on a turn. But you stay consistent.
Our daughter should be blind, but we kept and keep saying she has 20/20 vision and today, she does. It's taken 8 years, but we've been consistent.
The key to faith lies in our consistency to Gods Word.
