New Hope Ranch programs have been designed for the purpose of changing lives by giving Hope through meeting the needs of hurting and lost people by teaching them how to overcome life-controlling issues that range from homelessness, hunger, and lack of education and go on to live productive transformed lives.
At BOHMI Veterans Restoration Program, it is our mission is to create a principle-based environment and comprehensive residential program that addresses every area of restoration in the life of a homeless veteran. We work to provide each Veteran with stability, personal skill building, educational and training opportunities leading to employment and housing and the restoration of personal dignity, faith and strength.
Our ministry accomplishes its mission through the diligent and compassionate efforts of trained staff and volunteers. Our veterans are provided housing, meals, case management services, counseling, laundry facilities, a computer lab, gym, chapel and transportation to VA Medical Center appointments. Every effort is made to provide each Veteran with the tools, direction and encouragement needed to arrive at genuine success and full restoration.

Christian based program for
Homeless singles, Homeless families, Homeless seniors, and Homeless vets. People can stay as long as they remain in the low income bracket and are required to pay 30% of their income towards their room and board/housing. Those who can’t will have work opportunities to exchange for part or all living expenses.
Step 1
Screening, Assessment and Planning:
Assessing Clients’ Needs
Homeless clients will work with a life coach to develop an individualized action plan.
All clients must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the program:
*Clients must have maintained their sobriety for at least six months
*Disclose any outstanding warrants
Once enrolled to the program, homeless clients are assigned a case manager. The case manager conducts an in-depth assessment of their needs, identifying their personal strengths and weaknesses. Then passes this to the clients personal life coach and together, the client and life coach develop an individualized Personal Action Plan. When the plan is complete, a contract is signed and enrollment is complete.

*Residents work on the ranch or our outside projects to cover room and board costs if they can’t pay room and board or pay partial room and board and work for balance
Step 2
After each client has relocated to New Hope Ranch the clients are supported as they improve their coping skills and get back to normal living patterns. They are provided assistance with:

- progress is evaluated quarterly
- classes will be available on site

- Pre-Screening: will involve completing pre-screening for all prospective clients
- Answer incoming calls and following up with recorded messages
- Applications and Interviews: will include assisting in the evaluation of client status for program approval through the interview process

Assist homeless people with outstanding non-DUI criminal, misdemeanor and traffic cases. Individuals with outstanding warrants can be barred from employment, public housing or entitled benefits and risk fines and/or jail time if caught.

Uncertain funding in the years ahead, as government funding becomes more restrictive and other funding more competitive.
Everyone needs a place to call home, regardless of the circumstances that may have resulted in a client becoming homeless. Fun activities are planned for every Saturday night, playing board games, making Christmas cards, playing charades, and many other activities provide opportunities for good ‘ole family fun and positive conversation.
Activities are structured carefully to provide maximum learning in a safe and fun environment. Every opportunity is taken to help clients connect with each other with various activities to give them skills they can use with families and friends.

New Hope Ranch serves as a residential program to minister to the needs of the hurting homeless where they can learn to re-establish relationships through the programs offered. Whether the clients are working with the horses, goats, chickens or pigs, growing vegetables or flowers, all year green houses, woodworking or any number of projects where they experience trust, respect in a safe environment. The ranch provides experiences that restore their trust, ability to belong, and faith in knowing the future holds hope and a purpose.

Clients at New Hope will live in houses, casitas and bunk houses. A bus will take them to appointments, outings and other activities. Parking provided for those with motor homes and campers
Life Coaching
We provide our clients with extensive one-on-one Life Coaching sessions. Each client will be provided therapy for emotional growth, problem solving and will assist in the designing of a personalized life action plan. This private Life Coaching provides the powerful means by which the recovery back to a normal lifestyle plan is transformed into effective tools for lasting change. With help, clients are able to dig deep to face issues buried inside. Often times involving anger, depressions, anxiety, and many other related issues. When you work with a life coach you'll benefit in many ways. The client will learn:
- To develop greater awareness of themselves
- To discovers what they really desire for their life
- To decides what their passion is and what's most important to them
- To set priorities and keep their focus on what matters
- To learn to make informed decisions
- To explores and evaluates their possibilities
Life Coaching will benefit clients by helping them to set goals they really want to achieve. When they create an ideal goal - something theyreally want - they're more likely to take action to achieve it.
Homeless Veterans

Human Trafficking
Hope Centre has programs to rescue victims and then they will be placed in the New Hope River Ranch program to rehabilitate, and restore female victims of one of the most horrific industries in the world. Victims are subjected to force, fraud, or coercion for the purposes of sexual exploitation. New Hope River Ranch has a program designed to restore these women through spiritual guidance, and education, including basic literacy and job skills training, counseling, legal aid, and for victims who were smuggled, assistance with becoming a U.S. citizen. The program also meets basic needs such as clothing, healthcare, food, and shelter in a loving, safe and supportive environment. The purpose of which is to fully restore victims so that they can be functional and healthy members of society.
Vet Programs
Provides medical care and rehabilitation services in a residential and therapeutic setting to Veterans challenged by medical conditions, emotional disorders, or physical injuries who do not need hospitalization or nursing home care. New Hope will provide an opportunity for motivated, at-risk Veterans to achieve his/her optimal level of functioning and return to independent community living, and regain a sense of self-esteem and self-worth.
Homeless Youth
Homeless youth (up to 18) will go to Hope Ranches residential program. Most street youth are there simply because there’s nowhere else to go. And on the street there is the constant threat of violence, exploitation, drugs and illness.
Homeless Families
Homeless Families (Will be reached through Hope Centre) Families and others can stay as long as they remain in the low income bracket and are required to pay 30% of their income towards their room and board/housing or work will be available in exchange for room and board.
Pregnant Moms
New Hope provides comprehensive prenatal services to homeless pregnant women once they enter our residential program.
Single Mom Support Services
Single moms have special needs and require additional assistance. The single mom program will help single moms connect with other single moms on a weekly/bi-weekly basis for classes which address their own particular needs and questions, while their children are cared for in the onsite day Care program.
Cooking Program
Headed up by a professional chef instructor, the six-week pre-employment program, trains young people for entry-level jobs through hands-on experience, including preparing some items in bulk for the residents’ meals. Working in teams, participants also learn the professional conduct required to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Upon completion of this court youth will receive a food handling certificate.
Gardening
Using greenhouses and cold frames starts the growing season in early spring and extending it into late autumn, adding a heater in the greenhouses enables use all year round. Sowing field crops and greenhouse crops for all our facilities creates jobs and an organic food source to sell for profit. We will also growing our herbs and spices both for our residential use and for profit.
Farming
Raising organic cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits, turkeys, chickens and geese for meat for our facilities and to sell for profit to local markets both creates jobs and income.
Honey Bee Farming
Raising natural bees using the organic method. Honey, Honey jelly, honey combs are just some of the products that can be manufactured on site for use in our programs and also sold for profit.
Chickens
Chickens will beraised for egg production and meat for our residential programs also sold for profit.
Milk Cows
For milk, cream, butter, cheese, ice cream, yogurt production to be used in our residential programs as well as sold for profit.
Ranching
Cattle, buffalo will be raised for meat for our residential programs and for market.
Wood Working Shop
Wood working products will be made, refinishing furniture and market for profit.
Refurbishing Shop
To refurbish cars, RV’s, mobile homes, and boats for resale.
Lawn Maintenance Crew
To maintain all lawns on all our facilities.
Landscaping
To landscape and maintain all our facilities grounds.
Construction Crew
For construction of new facilities, improvements, renovations etc.
Shipping and Receiving Warehouse
Shipping and receiving plays a big part in any organization. Those involved in this department will a roll in the helps and support portion of Bridge of Hope.
Computer Training
In programming, servicing and to be computer literate, to become proficient in Word and Excel
Sewing Classes
Clients will learn to sew, alter, and design clothes for themselves and to market.
